Summer Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken



This Summer Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken recipe is perfect for those lazy days when you want a delicious meal without heating up the kitchen. The combination of barbecue sauce, honey, and spices creates a sweet and savory flavor that pairs perfectly with tender chicken. Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish optional

Instructions:

Put honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl

Mix them all together

Put chicken breasts in the crock pot

Cover all the chicken with the sauce mixture by pouring it over it

Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or high for 2 to 3 hours, until the chicken is soft and fully cooked

Use two forks to shred the chicken when it's done

If you want, you can sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top of the rice or put it on a sandwich
