Mulled Pear Sangria
Mulled Pear Sangria is a delightful twist on the classic sangria, perfect for cozy evenings or holiday gatherings. The warm spices and sweet pear flavors blend beautifully with the richness of red wine and brandy.
Ingredients:
- 750ml red wine
- 2 pears, sliced
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 4 whole cloves
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup apple cider
- Sparkling water optional, for serving
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Put pears, orange slices, brandy, cinnamon sticks, cloves, honey, and apple cider in a large pot
Over medium-low heat, bring the mix to a simmer
Turn down the heat and let it simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring every now and then
Take it off the heat and let it cool down a bit
Pour the warm mulled pear sangria into glasses
If you want, add a splash of sparkling water
Before serving, sprinkle with fresh mint leaves
