Best Slow Cooker Chicken Legs
Ingredients:
- 8 chicken legs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions:
Soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and cayenne pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl
Put chicken legs in the crock pot
Cover the chicken legs with the sauce mixture by pouring it over them
Make the chicken soft and cooked all the way through on low for 4 to 6 hours or high for 2 to 3 hours
After the chicken legs are done, take them out of the slow cooker and put them on a platter to serve
Add water and cornstarch to a small bowl
Stir until the mixture is smooth
Add the cornstarch mix to the slow cooker sauce and mix it in
Put the lid on top and cook on high for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until the sauce gets thicker
The sauce should now be thick
Pour it over the chicken legs
Before serving, top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds
